Financial Aid ServicesFinancial aid is available to students who, without such assistance, would be unable to attend Fort Berthold Community College. Financial aid is used to supplement the student’s resources. The Financial Aid Office reserves the right to make final determination of the type(s) and amount of aid awarded to students. Awards are based upon an evaluation of the student’s eligibility as determined by the needs analysis form and the availability of funds from the various financial aid programs. The FBCC Financial Aid Office will make every effort to provide adequate financial assistance to students who demonstrate legitimate financial need. Who May Apply?Students applying for financial aid must meet the following: a) Be a US Citizen or eligible non -citizen. b) Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a degree program. c) Be maintaining satisfactory progress toward completion of a course of study. d) Not be in default on any Federal Family Educational Loan Program. e) Not owe a repayment to the Department of Education (DOE) on any grant funds previously awarded. How to Apply:a) Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA, or Renewal Application. To file electronically, visit the FAFSA website at www.fafsa.ed.gov b) When completing the FAFSA, list Fort Berthold Community College as a college they plan to attend. * FBCC College code is 015536. c) Submit Student Aid Report, SAR, to FBCC Financial Aid Office When to Apply:To receive top consideration for financial aid, the FAFSA should be completed by March 15th. Applications will be accepted after this date; however, financial aid awards will depend upon the availability of funds. Students must complete the FAFSA for each year financial aid is requested. |
